When I stepped through my skylight last winter attempting to clear the snow off, I found this site. This fix was a little pricey so I elected to get a tinted plexiglass sheet cut to fit with a 1" overlap. Cost me about 40.00 USD. I bought the plexiglass in Ft Myers, Fla. I used eternabond and butyl tape to set on the roof. Never got around to fixing the interior portion of the skylight because I traded the Cherokee for a Cedar Creek.

I ordered a Lexan Skylight from these guys rather than replace it with another cheap factory acrylic one. Replacement RV Skylights from EZ Tops World Wide Inc. It was less than $100 including shipping and should hold up better. Installation was straightforward. If you're replacing it anyway, you may consider alternate colors. I chose white to cut down on the heat transmitted through and am thrilled with the results. It lets in zero heat and so much light that I can not really tell a difference from the original.
