Best Cover for Rockwood Roo
I have a 2016 Roo 23SS. I live in snowy Michigan. I'm shopping for a cover to use from October until April while I have the Roo in outdoor storage. I've read mixed things about a lot of brands (ADCO, for example). What do Roo owners use for winter covers, and are you happy with it? I'm looking for something high-quality. I don't mind paying for it.
Thanks!

I've had 2 Addco's. One for the Roo, one for the Mini-Lite. They were not "custom", but the generic versions that you get in 2 ft length increments. I don't know how well "custom" ones fit, but I do know that the 2 ft versions will have some slack in places. This allows the cover to flap in a few places.
This causes my only real problem: holes at the corners. I've put tennis balls on the gutter drip spouts, but then I find them laying on the ground and a hole in the cover. Cover is OK otherwise.
So whatever you get, you need to figure out a way to keep the tennis balls on the drip spouts. I haven't figured it out yet.
Also, you'll need balls on any other high points on the roof. On the Roo, it was the release lever on the manual awning.
I'm sure others will have good advice.

Welcome to the forum.
Snow is not an issue to me, as is the crap from the trees. I would cover for that before I cover for some snow.

I have had a Classic Accessories Poly Pro 3 for the last 2 years on my 23ss, and have been very happy with it. I have used the tennis balls, and padding on any protruding objects. This spring, I did notice some wear areas on the corners, and will probably need to replace it next year, but I would buy another one.

I live in Maine...........Lot of snow here too. I never had problem with ADCO. I had three hybrids so far, and this is my third ADCO.

I'm guessing the snow holds the cover down and minimizes any flapping.

I use an ADCO on my 23IKSS- very happy with it so far. Not too much snow here in NC, but it has held up well to the elements.

There are straps on each side that snaps together underneath the camper...no flapping.
One suggestion: to avoid the gutter spouts to rip your cover, buy four tennis balls (one for each spout), make a slit in the balls and insert the spouts in them

Yeah, that's the THEORY! But in practice, they still flap.

Drill a hole in the gutter and run a zip tie through it. Then they will stay.

There's no flapping with mine.....Even if it flaps in your neck of the wood, does it keep you awake at night !!!
I'm trying to understand what's the big deal if they flap !

Because that's what ends up making it loose enough that the tennis balls fall off the gutter spouts. My thoughts for next year are to run a rope around the top, just under the spouts; hope this will keep it tight enough at the spouts that the balls can't come off.

I don't have a flap with mine their are many ways to take care of it , as far as the balls falling of I don't use then I take a swimmers noodle cut down to about 8 in and make a split down one side for all spouts and any place that will be a wear point and zip tie them. I place a large rubber mat over the tv antenna and then when that is done I place a large blue tarp over the over cover the adco cover and use several ropes to go all the way over and under the camper and ties them off so no flapping just very little to let wind under to keep it dry.

I had similar problems with the tennis balls and decided to give swim noodles a try. I cut them a 1 1/2" longer than the spout, slipped them on then put the cover on. Three winters with no problems. . .
Also used an ADCO for 6 years. Had no problem with flapping. But I probably didn't have as much extra on the ends as other folks as I pulled the cover over the spare tire and the propane tanks. That took up a lot of the extra material - and the straps did the rest.

Thanks very much for your replies about the Adco. Which type of Adco do you all have in snowy climates? Designer Tyvek or Sunbrella?

Here's what I have for my Mini Lite in northern Illinois (48" of snow last year, only about 2 ft this year):
ADCO All Climate + Wind Designer Tyvek RV Cover Travel Trailer, 22'1" - 24'
