Bike Rack for 2017 23IKSS

Has anyone attached a 4 bike carry rack on the rear bumper of their Roo with success?

This has been posted to death. Lots of different rack options. If mounting to the rear bumper you should watch weights and reinforce if possible. They are not meant to carry weight. My bumper came with a sticker that said any add on accessories voided the warranty.

Some say its no problem and some tell stories of their bikes and bumper sliding down the free way.

Thanks... fairly new member, appreciate the heads up and reminder. Seems I've read this before.

Once the warranty is up, you could get a 2" receiver welded and braced to the frame.
Then get a RV-approved bike rack, like a Swagman.

Personally my bikes are too valuable to risk them in such a risky way.

See Post #2 for what I had put on my Roo 19. Posts #12 and 13 for what's on my Mini Lite 2503S.

Lot of people worry about frame warranty. I didn't.

I also don't have an "RV certified" bike rack (I have an 8-year old Thule 990XT that's still going strong) holding 2 bikes. But if you're going with 4 bikes, it might be a wise move.

I also moved my spare tire under the TT forward of the axle on the Mini Lite. Helps balance things out.

DO NOT just bolt a bike rack to the bumper.
