Black tank

Camping this weekend I was looking under the trailer and noticed a the the black tank has a depression in the center of the tank that will prevent the tank from fully emptying by gravity. I think the tank flush will wash everything but I don't remember the tank on my other Roo being like this. Has anyone else noticed this?Click image for larger version

no bump on mine either. Just installed a bt flush since the 2015.0 doesn't come with one. Also fixed the fw tank bracket that came out of it's slot somehow between t.o.m. and today. By the streaks on the tank, doesn't appear it was ever in.

The tank in the picture is an Alpha Systems VB22548H and is 33 gallons not the 28 or 30 advertised by Rockwood.

Black tank

It is a Polyethylene tank which is why the piping is not glued but sealed and clamped. I looked at mine today which were full at the time, before I hit the dump station at the state park. I also had the bow downward in the center and I think there is no way around that with any tank no matter if its Poly or ABS, they all deflect some when full. I think you will always have a little residual in there no matter what you do with any tank. I have yet to find a 100% level dump station. My other trailers had ABS tanks and they would also bow down like that when full. I am not going to worry too much about it. If I see the supports the tank is hanging from deflecting, that's when I'll start being concerned.

If it's truly only bowing "when full," then it should take care of itself as it empties.
