I just found this forum. Our inside handle handle is broken on our 183. RCCS, I would be interested in one of your aluminum handles if they are not all spoken for.

Twohand, the part that I have been making is the paddle part only like seen in the post by hockeymom which she pictured. If you look at the picture on top you can see that there should be a small part of the plastic paddle that sticks through to operate the outside latch that has broken off. I have been making only the paddle part and not the part that mounts it to the door. That part can be re used with the part I made.

Mine isn't a paddle style on the inside. More like a lever. I know I will soon be looking for a replacement for it. As an engineer, I am appalled at the cheap parts and shortcuts used on $65000 travel trailers.

RCCS, Your part works perfectly, now, a week later, my sister broke the outside lever. There are plenty of replacements that look like them, but don't have the slot for inside lever to work. It seems that Atwood made this latch setup exclusively for FR and they will only sell to a FR dealer. The # for the complete latch is 10-15296A. I've got one on order. That would be a good part to make from aluminm.

I will have to look the outside one over on mine and see how hard it would be to duplicate. Mine has not broken yet but one never knows.

DK in SC linked an Amazon part. Perfect replacement on my 2014 23IKSS. Less than $ 11. Installed yesterday. You need a #2 square bit to disassemble.

screen door handle

That is fine if you only want a handle on the outside rich|167 but what I have been making is the inside handle like hockeymom posted about having broken. All I have been asking for them is what it costs me in postage to send it to you, most around $3.50.
