Bunk door problems

Our 2011 Roo 23SS has a delaminated front bunk, for about 2 years now, and it appears to be getting soft inside now to. I know its been talked about on here alot, but i was just wondering what happens if it fails before i can get it fixed. We are 2nd owners, so no warranty.

I have already been in contact with them, they said at least 4 to 6 weeks to get the order ready to ship. Plus i talked to the dealer that sold it originally, not to us we are 2nd owners. They said about the same time line. We have a big Couples Wedding shower for our Son and future Daughter inlaw coming up the end of July, the party is at our house, so lots of prep work and yard work, and the Wedding in Sep, so i am kind of busy! Probably will just have the dealer do it, they told me about $350.00 to install it, but just wondering how long i can safely still use it? Dont want to fall out of bed in the middle of the night at the campground! I think it will last a while yet, but any thoughts or suggestions to prolong it would help. THANKS!

Well, if the wood inside is getting softer, that's a different issue than the delaminating issue. If the wood is soft, then there must be water getting in as well. Determine if the "soft wood" issue is a misdiagnosis. If indeed, and delaminating is the only problem, you should fine. (In my opinion).

I also have a Rockwood Roo and need to get the rubber seals for around the bunk replaced. I hope we can find it there is water damage to one end of our bunk that we need to replace. any suggestions as you have experience in this product longer then me?

While we are waiting for our new doors to be built I cut a piece of sub floor and lay it down when we put the beds out, I cut it from frame edge to edge this helps disperse the weight for now.
