2016 Roo 19', quick question for ya, when I close the end bunks up it appears to me that the is not very much clamping area , can these clamps be adjusted up and down ? thanks
I think I know what you are talking about and I think the answer is no, is there a way you can take a picture of what you are trying to describe? I noticed that on my 23s and although they look odd they hold well.
EVERY time we closed the bunk ends last year (which was a lot) DW would look at the clamps and ask, "those look OK to you?" Hasn't said anything this year, guess its out of her system,

Same here on my 23ws.............It seems like you could unscrew the upper part and lower it a bit, but I'm not sure. I'll have to try that!
In the meantime, we made eight camping trips this summer and never had a problem.
They are adjustable. I have a 2016 183 Roo and the first thing I noticed when I got it home is they were barely grabbing. I brought it back to the dealer and they adjusted them. Now they line up perfectly
Now I'm worried mine isn't lined up... New 2017 roo 17 and my bunk end clamps just barely grab also. Would someone please post a photo of properly adjusted clamps to compare? Thanks!
This is how mine look after being adjusted. Some of them were barely grabbing beforeAttachment 120435
That's how mine look. Thanks for posting as I was starting to wonder. The manufacturer's (KenCon) web site states these are adjustable and can increase closing force - by your dealer. Don't know why you couldn't do it yourself. I think Drenjoey is correct - done at the top screws, but I'll let someone else experiment.
