Also good because you learned something and everyone on here can benefit from your troubleshooting and solution, never know others may have that issue.

Bunk light problem

Before replacing the outlet I would suggest trying dielectric grease before replacing the outlet.

DK-in-SC. Thanks, and so true you are. We were just thinking how dumbfounded we were not to hear the chirping, like when we did hear in our pop up. Maybe we just get immune to hearing the sounds and take them for granted at times. Unknowingly, of course.

Very true! Just as I have learned. That what is so wonderful about this forum. We learn something everyday. Without our firsthand experiences and mishaps , we would not be able to share and compare. Makes some of us beginners look and feel very confident gaining the knowledge of the seasoned campers. Love this forum.

Thanks for the suggestion gbpacker. I wasn't quite sure what Dielectric Grease was, so therefore I googled it. I can see why this would be handy to have in the camper toolbox. Thanks again. Much appreciated.

Also good for greasing your 7-pin connector on the TV. Keeps both ends (jack and plug)from corroding.

OK, need more info. I am assuming you are saying to grease the inside of the TV connector, prongs and all? YES? Or just the inner plastic casing?

The co detector does have a life expectancy, like the one you should have in your house. I believe its 3-5 years. If you're hearing consistent chirping and your battery is charged or on AC, you may have a bad co detector (and the reason they pulled the fuse).
