Bunk End pole mount

I have a 2019 Roo 233S. The other day I found the mount where the upper pole goes into the bunk end pole broken. I think what happens when removing the pole it is taken out sort of to the side because the bathroom wall is directly there. I found the black center piece broken. I think going onto the bunk and trying to be more careful when removing it straight back would be better prevention but telling the DW that HUMM . I purchased 2 of these from the RV dealer for about 3 buck a piece (one for a spare ) but is there a place online that someone would know of to get replacements? Thanks

Do a search. Someone posted a source in the last year or so.

I get them from Hanna trailer supply. They sell a 2-pack for 8.99.

Looks like they are out of stock right now though.

Thank you. My wife yesterday was near the RV store and she picked up one and it was about $3 so if we break it again I will get another one or 2. I have had 3 popups with out any issues and this one since May and I already broke it
I wonder if there is a different way to do it or we just need to be more careful.

This is what I am familiar with when we had popups. Any comments with switching back to something like this? All the years and never broke one

I cant comment on these. Ive never had anything that used them. The handful of popups ive used had similar brackets to whats on my 233S. If you can get them for $3 a piece at a local place, id just stick to that. That's cheaper than what ive been buying them for.

I think you right about the back bunk with the bathroom wall in the way. That back bunk is the only bracket we've had break, and Im pretty sure it was broke when we picked it up from the dealer. They set it up before our pdi, and we didn't notice it until the 1st time we used it and set it up ourselves. But I have noticed that you are putting in and pulling out the pole at an angle at the back bunk because of the wall which is probably what breaks them. Ours was broke in the same manner, the center busted out.

Thanks for posting this. I have one that's broken on my back bunkend on my Roo233S also. It still holds the pole at the moment but the middle portion is broken out and I need to get another.

Happy Camping!

We are camping this weekend and I was worried that one of the kids would bump the pole and bamm right through the canvas and now we have a bigger problem than just a $3 part. I want to keep a extra one on hand for the just in case moments since it was so easy to do. Cheap Security

I have the same on my Shamrock 23ikss. My last two Hybrids and my pop up had the snap end that Wisconsin posted...and I broke them all the time. They cost me about $5-$6 a pop to replace. So if these new ones only cost $3...I think it is an improvement.

Screw It

If it were me, I'd just drill a hole in the center and put a short hex head screw in it. All it needs is to stick out enough to keep the rod from slipping out. It is under enough tension that it doesn't come out that easily.
