Bunk End Pulling Loose at Corner...ideas?

Hi everyone. We have a 2013 Rockwood Roo 183L.

One of the canvas bunkends seems to be pulling away. We noticed it from the inside in the top right corner. From the outside, you can see that there are two clips that look like they pulled away that hold the canvas. (see the two attached pictures).

Any advice on how to fix this?

take it to the dealer and also have them check the bunk door to see if it's out of alignment.

I've got the exact same issue right now with my 233S. Go figure that it is out of warranty! Planning on looking at it in depth next weekend.

didn't either of you pay the $150 for the 2nd year factory warranty?

Yea, most don't so its hard to know what you don't know. My current dealer actually included it in the paperwork, which really surprised me after reading about all the stories from members who bought new here and on other forums.

Same thing happened to me. When I found out we only owned our Roo for 6 weeks. Forest River told me I must not be reading my info packet correctly that all info is in the packet

Everyone's warranty status aside, has anyone seen anything like this before and what was done to fix it?

We did pay for the 2nd year warranty, our local dealer didn't know how to fix them, so I was going to try to do it myself. I could never really figure out how to get them apart, so we finally decided to drive about an hour and half to take it to another dealer. We dropped it off today and he said they have to take it all apart and re-install, silicone it, etc. Should have it back in a month.

Mine has pulled loose, but not to the extent you've experienced. Click image for larger version

ID:	43184 So far it's holding fine. I also found large gaps in the upper corners where the tent meets the frame (no pics at this time), and filled them with the silicone provided. So far it seems to be maintaining integrity, but in honesty, we don't see a lot of rain to ensure how well the fix is working.

Earlier this year I had the front tend end door replaced. Unfortunately the canvas is separating as shown by olwalker. I believe the front door is out of alignment as it slopes downward enough to pull at that canvas.

While the tent end should be under warranty, I'm waiting on a call back. Major bummer as I thought I had my idiot tax headache behind me.

For future use, has anybody ever repaired this on their own? I'd hate to have this become a recurring problem.
