Already did. It's like a weather tech looking plastic rain guard

I slit a garden hose and put it over the top the full length.

I'll try that hose trick. But I found the cover I was talking about. It's called a drip cap on rvpartsnation. Com. I was trying to get it at 86 inches long... But no cigar!

Water leak at bunk ends

Had the same problem with 2014, model 19. After three attempts dealer installed a flat rubber gasket on the bunk end doors opposite the factory seals. That solved the problem. No rain leakage or bugs can get past the double seal. Since you are still under warranty, suggest same fix to your dealer.

1" dia thin wall PVC pipe did the trick for me. Cut away about 1/4 of the diameter on a table saw, very easy, but very messy. I have traveled with these held in place with small bungee cords. Good luck!

I sometimes find a cup of rain water pooled on the outside vinyl of the bunks when opening up... so far it has not been a problem as I always zip up the windows and it never has leaked into the inside of the bunk.

Forest River LISTEN to all the forum posts about Bunk End Leaks

I have posted about this and so many others have as well on current models as well as older ones.

I think it is time FR looked at this as a PROBLEM and put something in place to divert the water just like they did on the sides of the trailer.

Too many have this problem. This is a design issue that needs to be corrected by the manufacturer.

I have a 2016 Roo 183 that I purchased in late spring of this year. We've camped with it six weekends with the final scheduled trip this coming weekend.

I have not seen any signs of water leakage. Does the water leak into the bunk ends when they are folded up? Have you checked the weather stripping along the top edge of the bunk?

I'll keep an eye out for this problem with mine, but so far so good. I'm not sure if FR changed the seals between 2015 and 2016.
