Bunk Latch (new style) Adjustment Instructions

I've been trying to find instructions to adjust the bunk latches on my 13' Shamrock. I completely forgot that I had previously bookmarked this page. So I here is the manufacturer's link and the instructions.

I had to do 2 full turns on my 2015

I assume this moves the top latch further onto the peg? My back bunk door barely catches the pegs and I am always worried that the latches will let go of the peg after hitting a pot hole while driving.

No, this only increases the clamping force by lengthening the handle stroke. It appears that to increase the bite of the clamp on top that would have to be lowered, possibly with new holes which I'm not going to mess with.
