Bunk leak mod thread?

Can someone help me find the thread about using PVC or ABS pipe on the bunk doors to prevent leaks? I've looked for 20 mins and can't find it...

Search for a member called Pixleys. He is the original creator of the pipe things. I made mine a little different but similar using his design. THEY WORK GREAT. let me know if you need help.

Yes, as well as the other versions posted above. Thanks. Unfortunately I was NOT one of those lucky individuals that didn't have a bunk seal leak. Really a piss off on a brand new trailer! Currently my Roo21ssL is at the dealer to have this issue warrantied, but I have my doubts that they will solve the issue and I will likely end up solving the issue myself with this PVC pipe mod. Just pissed off that I even have to though! The more I look at the design, the more it makes no sense that there isn't some type of cover/guard over the exposed seal when the bunk is closed. Oh well, nothing I can do now...I bought the trailer, I owe money for the trailer, I just have to solve the problem and make it work.

That's how I felt after I bought mine.

I guess I learned a lesson for next time.

My previous hybrid had a gutter that ran above the bunks. Never had a leak (from anywhere) (which was kind of ironic since the dealer I was trading it in to for the 23ikss was adamant about asking me if I ever had water damage..which was never). The seals on this when compared to the latest 2015 version of what I had, are much smaller. It looks like the seals they use on other brands are more of an automotive quality. It may make more sense to upgrade the seals with an automotive seal verses the pvc pipe (though I do like the ingenuity). For me, latching the bunk and not having to add another step (or carry more stuff) seems easier.
