And here's a pic of the new core that was sent, as you can see its pre delaminated and thirsty for water! I sealed it however before installation.

Thanks for the pics. I am going to be ordering a new bunk shortly for my Roo. My local dealer says that if I am patient, they will ship it with a trailer, and will save me a pretty penny on shipping costs.

Wow. Thanks for the pictures. It's shocking that you'd get a new core that's not perfectly sealed.

I'm surprised that FR sent you the core directly. My experience was that they insisted on sending the new cores to a dealer and they would have to do the installation.

I hope that you got it completely seal up and that you won't have the problem again.

I asked about fitting the new style bed doors (with the permanently attached canvas) on my 2010 but the dealer told me they don't fit.

They were actually pretty good about the whole thing, I explained that I wanted to do the install myself. I'm sure if it was warranty work being done they would want to go through a dealer.
