Buttons

Does anyone know the best way to remove a button from the mattress ? I need a new one on one of them. And does anyone know the size off hand? And how to they install, do I need a special tool? Click image for larger version

Marine supply stores sell kits for the buttons. I purchased a kit awhile back for some boat cover work. Should be same size.

Try mcmaster carr as well. Yeah you should buy the kit they sell to give you all the pieces for both sides and the punch and die for them. Easy to do.
