Canvas patch material?

I just discovered what looks like a small hole in the top of a bunk tent. I can't tell if it's actually punctured, if the vinyl got scraped off the outside, or something else happened. (I didn't have the right glasses with me.) It's about 1/8" in diameter, or maybe less?

Anyway, I'm leaving in two weeks on vacation and don't have time to make a warranty claim. If it turns out to be a puncture or leaks water somehow, what do I use as a temporary repair? It looks small enough that some kind of goop would plug the hole. It doesn't have to last long.

Thanks

Would a silicon caulk work? It's clear and you probably could peel it off later.

My old pop up had a hole in the newer style canvas, it was like that when I bought it and was like that for about 5 years never leaked a drop, they used a pool liner repair kit...
