Any comments on this question? I want to make sure I weigh correctly.
Thanks

Toy Haulers mess with that because they need to be tongue heavy when empty and lighten up when something's in the garage.

Thanks but I have a Roo 23IKSS which is very lightly loaded. Mine is level but I think I have a slight front end lift and may need to move my bracket up one notch on my riser.

You would still strive for a tongue weight of 10-15%.

When I first picked up my Roo, I filled the tank at the station where the CAT scale was and weighed the truck before picking up the trailer. Then after picking up the trailer did the other 2 weigh ins after filling up again ( 2.3 gallons ).

Also of note is that the person working this scale said I got free "re-weighs" for the entire day. So I only had to pay once. Just use the same truck ID when you buzz in.

And about buzzing in... I'm 5'6" tall and couldn't reach the button from the cab of my 2500HD Silverado. Fortunately, I still had a snow brush under the rear seats from winter... #shortpersonproblems !

Yeah going to the cat scale before my first trip in July so just to make sure I am verified. I am well within my weight limits but the more balanced I can make my setup the better I will feel. My local scales gave me 24 hours to re-weigh for free after paying for the first one but closest one is 30+ miles from me so have to make sure I do this right.
