Caulk question - seems the caulk securing the horizontal seal on the slide of my 23ss

has cracked. I'll need to get some caulk on that. My question, what works best?

Do you have a specific brand and formula to use on these items? I need to stock up on caulk and get busy with the maintenance work, so I know I need the self leveling Dicor for the roof. What about for the other areas?

They make a formula that's made for vertical surfaces also.

It's called non sag by dicor. Had the same thing happen at our slide.

Looking further, the vertical caulk is starting to crack as well. I assume the same dicor product will work, the non-leveling product?

After digging through a couple of different forums I finally decided to go with the Proflex caulking. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...ht-white/20442

Most of the work is in prepping for laying the new caulk down so I remove as much of the old stuff as possible, make sure the surface is real clean and dry, then I mask off my line with blue painters tape. The painters tape gives you a nice clean line and keeps any excess from getting where you don't want it.

I used Proflex this year to touch up around a few fittings on the exterior of my Roo. It went on nicely although it was a bit more translucent than I thought it would be. I won't know until next Spring how well it lasts.
