Ceiling Lights Failing

We have a 2013 Rockwood Roo 19. All of a sudden we are having issues with the rocker switches in the ceiling lights seizing up. In the last 2 months we have had to replace 3 of them-and the bathroom one has been replaced 2 times. Is anyone else having this problem? The first replacement cost $17 (included shipping). When I called Forest River the second time they sent me 2 free ones. It is getting to be a pain!!

I had two of mine fail that same way in the Silverback. The lights were replaced at the Goshen Rally this year by the CC service personnel. I'm hoping none of the others fail.

Do you have the new LED fixtures or the old incandescent fixtures? I've got a 2012 Roo19 with incandescents and haven't had any problems.

We have the incandescent lights. I'm wondering if I could get them all changed to the LED's and maybe solve my problem.

Mine are incas, too (although I do have LED bulbs in them). No problem with my fixtures to date.

LED replacement lights

Forest River has offered to send me replacement LED light fixtures for all the lights in the trailer. He said they are smaller than what I have so we will have to patch the screw holes. Also, I'm wondering if it is difficult to do the switch out. Has anyone done this before and do they have any tips or comments. Are we better off to go with the LED lights? TRhanks!

It seems like you are having bad luck with the switches on the light fixtures. I have a 2009 Rockwood 23SS with incandescent lights and have no problems. I would check the light fixtures to determine if the problem is the switch or the lamps.
