Hmmm. Maybe that is a problem about to happen to me! The last few times I disconnected my power from the TT, I had to tug fairly hard to remove it. I am going to be inspecting that connection pretty darn close next time I get to my TT! Thanks everyone. Once again these forums are proving so invaluable!

I agree with Cowracer. The improperly torqued screw was the issue with mine also. I am an electrician by trade for the last 48 years. I've seen more than a few loose screws. I sent pictures to the dealer trying to get some warranty help but because I "Tampered" with it they told me no.

This happens FAR too often.

Mostly caused by repeated "hot" connects and disconnects; not rotating the plug into the socket and THEN using the locking ring to secure it; and due to the loose plug, water intrusion causing corrosion.
