I'm glad I never turned into a coffee snob (or beer snob). Just give me a plain ol drip coffee maker. No fancy machines with funny names. If no electric, I can do a percolator. With either one, I can toss my grounds in the woods.

X2 Amen howie70, can't stand Starbucks, Seattle's Best, Keurig, or fancy flavored. Just plain old black coffee, hot, cold or in between. Like an old beer commercial, "wet & wonderful"

Maybe we should just eat MREs. Then we wouldn't need to use the Microwave.

Oh no, microwaves are fine... As long as you have your tin foil hat on to block the rays.

I'm going to start throwing mine out the front door at home and while camping. My trash guy is complaining about all the coffee grounds in the trash can. LOL if the fire ants eat them then by the evening there won't be any grounds left any way. Hope it kills them cause I'm going to feed them everyday. Thanks for the tip. And the money saving tip on poision I won't have to dump in the yard anymore. I'll let you know how it works I have 25 acres of fire ants. Anyone know how to get rid of gophers?

Geesy Pete! Some of you hit the mark! Dump the dinged danged grounds onto the ground, or into bushes, etc. and let them mulch in! Lot's of gardeners (smart ones
at least...) do this, like Cubby! Putting them into your black water tank, or any tank, for that matter will do EXACTLY as Bubbles mentioned to your guillotine blade! I know...
I ruined mine in an Airstream and that was one hell of a job changing that out even
though I saved a bunch on labor, but not my sanity! How do I know? The blade slot was packed full with that stuff rendering the closing\sealing action absolutely nill.
Unfortunately I could get my gloved hand to the slot from the outside due to the
impossible angle. So, Viva la France doesn't work in this case...

This made me laugh out loud, b/c we bought a little Nespresso Inissia machine for our camper! Sometimes I suppose we do just throw money at stuff and if I thought too deeply about it I probably would feel guilty
