I'm almost embarrassed to tell you this...
So I keep my Roo at my lake site full time (at least till the cabin is finished). We all go down for the holiday weekend, and I start opening up the camper. I drop the bunks, get the electric plugged in and step in the door to deploy the slide. I hit the 'slide out' button, and get no movement, but get the clank-clank-clank of the ratchet clutch. Damn. Something is stuck. I try a couple of times and get nothing.
So I go outside to take a look, get all the way around the camper and stop in my tracks.
Then, and only
then did I notice that the slide was already out. We were down the weekend before to work on the cabin, and I ran the slide out so we could eat lunch in the A/C at the dinette. I must have totally forgotten to run the slide back in when I locked up.
Ok, so I can believe that I forgot to run the slide in the week before. But I'm shocked that I not only didn't notice it was out when I opened the door, nor did I notice when I was getting the clank out of the ratchet clutch, but I didn't even notice
the slide being out when I hooked up the electric!
I'm in serious doubt about my mental capacity at this point.
