There hasn't been a problem touching the inside of a tent for over 20 years.

Since hybrids have used vinylized canvas(since their inception in 1997), touching the inside of the tent ends hasn't been an issue.

At least that was the word back in my tent days!
that's was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy back then that's so old school
hybrids don't have canvas as well as popups
we use a heater with a fan near or bunk ends and never had that problem

This is what I did. A pop up trailer type awning installed over each bed. Provided extra security in bad weather and eliminated the interior condensation...and kept the inside cooler in the sun.

That a GREAT hybrid mod! In the 15 years I've been on various Hybrid forums, I've never seen that kind of solution.
Some Hybrids made in Australia, have a hard cover over the tent ends.

Condensation inside on canvas of bunk ends

A dehumidifier from Lowe’s (Hisense’s smallest model) solved the problem for me. No need to add Gizmos, reflectix, or other mods, and we camp into the upper teens for nighttime temperatures. We camp after late October by winterizing, using a portable Thetford potty from our pop-up days, and using camp showerhouse.

Just to eloborate on my post re mod. The first morning waking up in that hybrid I was awake at about 5.00 am due to the light coming through the vinyl. unlike old canvas vinyl does not block light. Installing the awning solved so many issues....light blocking. No more condensation. No likelyhood of leaks in really bad rain. Additional covered storage. Putting away the fold out dry, (deploy the awning first and store last).

That is a great mod!! Where did you get the awnings and what size are they? Thanks!

on our previous 23IKSS we used to hang one of the below heaters at each tent end, at one of the screws that hold the bed cable, facing the tent end so it keeps hot air circulating in the tent area and that solved our condensation problem.
it also helps if you keep the bathroom ceiling vent a little open...
On our current camper we use one for doing the same thing - eliminate condensation - at the front window.
It was for sale in our local Walmart for $9.99...

first end (front). I purchased retaining channel and attached it to the front of the trailer. The awning was then slid into this chanel by standing on the opened flop-out before the canvas was raised. The awning material simply lay on top of the erected canvas.
For the back bed I installed a pop-up trailer bag awning above the bed canvas attachment point. It was (i think) a 7 foot awning - width of the trailer. This I would open before I opened the bed. Had the effect of having a full awning at the back of the trailer.
I trust that that all makes sense!
