Just to be clear: A factory-installed propane heater with an EXTERNAL air intake and exhaust does not add any water vapor inside unless it is defective. In that case your CO alarm should sound a warning. If you use a non-vented portable catalytic propane heater, it will add lots of water vapor inside.

My hardside thermostat will only operate in one mode at a time, so I cannot run both the heat and A/C at the same time. In order to dehumidify, I turn the heat up to 80 degrees, and run it until it cuts off. I then switch to A/C at 68 degrees. If it's very humid inside, I may have to do this twice. I monitor temp. and humidity with a small battery operated digital combo unit.

We use a Duraflame fake fireplace for the majority of the heat. The furnace is set to 65 just in case the Duraflame can't keep up.

Our first 2 pups I ordered without furnaces. Figured 1500 watt heaters and heated mattresses would be fine. Sometimes an issue (poor campground wiring).

Just spent 2 nights, one night in the 40s, the other in the 30s. No condensation. Used my PUPs, had reflectix window inserts, had all 3 tents with about 4 inches of unzipped window on top, and the bathroom fan on low.

Big difference between the 183 and 21BH... 1 electric heater kept the 21BH warm. Not so with the 183.
