Just got back from a ag fair where a dealer had some SOB's. They had the curved shower in one. It's big. So you can see why the ikss had to move things around to make it fit.

This is my late 2015 and the bump is for plumbing, sink is under counter mounted and one side is bigger then the other sink, made of some sort of fiberglass

I think they made the island cabinetry smaller to keep the dinette slide from hitting it while retracted. Our early 15 model has a small scratch on the island made by the dinette. We now cushion the dinette with a towel before closing the slide. It works.

I don't think they changed the island size. I think the new sink drove them to add the box so the faucet would fit. Now screwing the island down in the right spot is an issue. Mine has scratches on the kitchen side due to the oven door handle hitting. I have a post from about a year ago on this. All that needs to be done is unscrew the island and move it a half inch.

As I mentioned in post #107 there is a big RV show at the NYS fairgrounds and I hoped to get over there to see the 2016.5. I just got back. Let me preface that I closed my pool yesterday (no helpers available) and the fairgrounds were packed so I had to walk a continent from where I parked. Admission was $8 with my $2 internet discount.

After all that, not one 23IKSS to be seen. The Rockwood dealer had some Roo hybrids, but not the one I wanted to see. None of the ones on display had the curved glass shower. All shower curtains.

The Flagstaff dealer had no Shamrocks, and I mean not a one. A salesman told me they had a few at the dealership, but decided to not bring any as they were already selling like hot cakes.

While I still had any energy I located some Palominos. They had one with a rear bunk, with solid front end. This one had a curved glass shower door. Bathroom was in the driver side. Approx. interior measurement was 31" at its widest. Distance from shower to across the toilet wall was 25". Distance from shower to across the sink was 18".
I got in the shower and its a tight fit (disclaimer: I'm 6'1" and no one has ever called me 'Slim').

They had a rubber strap that runs to the handles to hold the doors closed. I don't know how you keep it closed once inside. The doors kept popping open on me. One door was off the bottom track, but if you've ever been to one of these shows its a wonder everything isn't broken after the horde moves through.

Now to finish packing for tomorrow's camping trip. Then a beer and then a nap.

Now that I have everyone's attention, the one thing we did not like was sitting in the camper in a rainstorm and not being able to see outside! The camper really needs more windows! So, thinking about our two previous popup, we wondered why the Roo didn't have plastic windows on the bunkends. So to make a long story short, Elaine and I bought some clear heavy vinyl and fashioned windows for the end of the beds. We bought some velcro and glued it to the cut out vinyl, and glued the other half of the Velcro to the outside under the flap. We are now camp hosting at Maumee Bay and we are able to see out the front of the camper! I hope you got this far....because we really do love our little 23KISS.
