Couch/sofa bed in 23Ikss

Hi all! I was just wondering about the couch/bed in my Roo 23Ikss. I see several versions of this set up, and mine is a leatherette, roll out air mattress version. However, it has no arms on it. Every other version has arms on the couch, but this one does not. Is it supposed to? There is a void, like maybe there could me, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have this set up? Can you tell me if there is supposed to be some type of arm or not? We bought it used, and it is in perfect condition. Just curious. This is not my pic, but it is what we have in ours.

That's mine. No arms on the air bed option. Mine is cloth. Mine was ordered so that is the way they come.

I have 2015. Fabric couch with arms and air mattress. My fabric is a slightly different color. Isn't the space between the couch and wall going to be a catch all?

We have an early 2015 IKSS and our air bed couch does have arms.

I was thinking the same thing. It seems kind of odd that there aren't any arms, and I can just see every kernel of popcorn finding it's way there. I may have to do a diy to change this up a bit. Does anyone know if extra fabric is available to match the dinette, and where I go to order/purchase it?

I viewed these models when I was looking for a new camper. I remember the couch having arms. It just looks odd without them. I agree that you will be dropping all kinds of things into the cracks.

Our unit is a 2014, cloth and with arms. A sofa without arms would give you a little more room to stretch out...just a thought! But, others are right, a lot of things could drop down the sides. I put a protective cover over ours to keep it clean since we travel with 2 dogs and it is really hard to get the fabric down the sides of the wall with those arms.

Good point, richbon. I think I will use some foam to create some "arms" and at the same time catch some crumbs. If I make them removable, then I think I'll be great shape! It is amazing that there are so many versions of this 2014 camper!

How's about two of those long, round/tube like pillows? They would decorative as well as functional...but less chance of finding crumbs or coins, etc.!

Ous is a 2014 23 IKSS and the sofa with fold,out air mattress is fabric and has arms. none of the ones I have seen before were without arms.

Actually you kinda got me on that one. I can't tell my fabric since we cover it due to the pe(s)ts. And there is 4 ft of snow up against it.

That photo shows the exact sofa that is in our brand new 2015 23IKSS which we just picked up this week. BUT it does not have an air mattress. I was expecting and had ordered an air bed but the dealer said that FR has stopped shipping air mattresses (at least on the Roo). I spoke to FR and they confirmed this.

Instead of the air mattress it has 4 pads. Have not slept on it yet so cannot report on its comfort. Also since it is flat and padded I can always add an air mattress on top.

All in all seems like a good solution. Much better than a jackknife in my opinion. I also like that it has arms. Will be adding a couple storage ottomans to get the feet up and all should be good.

We have the couch with the arms but I REALLY don't like the fabric. I would LOVE to redo it with the micro fiber material. Have any of you done this before and if so was it hard to do? I recovered our cushions in our pop ups before but redoing the couch kind of scares me.

Update! My 23Ikss does have arms on the couch! It seems as though the seller used a couple of stock pics when he listed it on Craigslist. I am relieved. Same fabric, same roll out to a full air bed, thank goodness. I am really enjoying our new digs!
