I always carry a six foot step ladder. At first I carried it to check the tops of the slides for debris. You do need it to install the hose. The hose is a snug fit but works well. You can not slide it on.

No issues. It is a VERY snug fit and will not move in transit.

I always carry a small step ladder I purchased at Home Depot. I need it to remove the PVC pipes from the gutters and clean off slide outs before closing.

So I ordered a183, and don't have it yet. I'm doing my research while I'm snowed in. Is it the front tent end that leaks? Or all; front, side, and rear tent ends?

All three beds on mine leaked. That's why I installed the extra gutter above the side bunk.

I have not experienced any bunk leaks in my 23IKSS, but I'm not taking any chances. I installed a piece of 1-1/4" clear tubing over my rear bunk as well. See my previous post in this thread. Better safe than soggy!

I just did this mod using 3/4" vinyl tubing. Haven't had any rain yet but will let you know. I was able to find two 7 foot scraps that were unused for ,$5 at Ace hardware.
