Dinette/sofa 23ikss slide

This morning I was able to put both kitchen and dinette slide in. Now a few hours later I can't get the dinette slide to go out. There is no motor sound or any noise. I checked the fuses in the box and all seems okay.
Any suggestions? We are on the road but at least we can get the kitchen out and can reach the back bunk and bathroom, thank goodness.

Make sure the battery switch is on.

There is a fuse under the camper.

Thank you, when we get back to campground we will check it out. We are at son's home now. We have a nice campsite on Lake Lanier at River Fork and would like to enjoy it before heading back to Wisconsin.

As cpd1343 said, check the battery disconnect switch. On our 23IKSS, one of the slides works regardless of the battery disconnect switch. If that's not it, then check the fuses.

Thank you all, it was a blown fuse. What a lifesaver this forum is, the darn book was no help.

This happened to me too and it was the battery shut off by the door was pushed in. You could try plugging the trailer into your vehicle. If you have electric is it plugged into the box?

Some folks replace that fuse with an auto reset breaker that plugs right in the same fuse holder.

At my PDI last year the dinette/sofa slide wouldn't go out. They replaced the fuse. They told me the fuse in the front has a tendency to go out. I like the circuit breaker idea. PS. That slide works regardless of the position of the battery disconnect.

thanks for the info. I think I will keep these threads, as we have the same camper and are totally new to the HTT world. I am positive we will need answers to many of the questions presented on this forum, and I am so grateful for the knowledgeable folks here!

Ok so what fuse do I need and where does it go? My Inverter and fuse panel is in the rear across from the bathroom but I am not sure which fuse to replace? I assume PepBoys will have them

We found the fuses for the slide on the left side of the dinette/sofa underneath the trailer.

As you will soon learn there are fuses all over the place not just in the panel. The slide fuse is under the camper, towards the front, on the dinette side, by a junction box. It will be an inline fuse on a big red wire. I think it is a 30 amp. When you crawl under there to find it you can check to make sure of the size.

+1

The fuses are so scattered around the camper I'm not even sure why they bothered to install a fuse box.

If you do pick up the auto resetting circuit breaker at tbe auto parts store, be sure to find the one with the larger blades. Don't ask how I know.....

Because I picked up tne wrong one the first time and the blades weren't long enough for the fuseholder.

Because I picked up the short bladed type the first time, doesn't fit in the fuseholder!
