Do You Cover Your Roo

Thinking since mine is brand new I would get a cover just to keep it clean from December to March? Anyone else cover their Roo I know there are so many opinions on this?

This topic has been kicked around a bunch with strong opinions on both sides. As for me, I was advised by the service dept at my selling dealer to not cover it. Since they sell covers there, I figured there must be something to it. Why else would they pass up an opportunity to make money? Their reasoning was that they have seen instances where the cover was abrasive to the roof membrane. I assume many on this forum will chime in with opposing opinions so the choice will be yours.

Heck yeah. Been covering for over ten years with no issues. Started using a tarp (with no issues), but recently upgraded to an ADCO RV cover for our new Shamrock. As long as there is some air flow under the cover, you should be OK. Really glad we have the cover now as our new storage space is directly under a tree which drops some really nasty sap. Our cover looks like crap, but I'm glad our caper doesn't.

Thumbs up cover

We just covered ours since it was brand new and we always covered our old one and at 10 years of age it got us a great trade in price. WE don't have a concreate pad to park it on so we put it on the grass with a very heavy tarp under it to cut down on the moisture .

Ours is a 2016 233s the size cover we used was 22-24. Could have went a little bigger but definitely not a little smaller

Every year. Same camo tarp I bought for my 2010 sob. It does first duty spread out across two 10x10's canopies to create the "Tunnel of Terror" for Halloween. Then gets bungee'd down over the camper.

HF Camo tarp. ~$40. Some bungees and even a camo rope to act like a belt. 5 years and no signs of wear. For me, just need to keep the vertical stuff from causing a mess. Horizontally is no big deal. Every spring I scrub the camper down anyway.
