And good luck with yours as well, especially dealing with Camping World.

Even my buddy, who broke the push-arm off his slide (link here) figured it was less hassle to just weld it back on instead of going through all the bullcrap of trying to get a warranty repair. I know not everyone has a welder, and the skills to do every repair, but a lot of minor thing like mine were really a simple 20 minutes and a screwdriver type of fix.

Tim,

Again, one of the reasons I won't buy new. I enjoy taking care of repairs sense I am now retired. Sense my amputation there are things I can't do but if I can I will. Just like making modifications I want.

On occasion something comes up like the roof sealing so it is nice to know a dealer I can trust.

X 2. Seems like folks need to talk more about the bad dealers and spread the word. Might get into there pockets. Would be nice if the dealers could work out working on other than there own sales of campers like the auto industry has done. So much nicer and make life so much easier. Later RJD

X3. I don't understand why they wouldn't want the service business and possibly the next sale of the customers next rv. Unless they just don't need the business or money

I might try CW in Lakewood too

With RV's selling like hotcakes, they can pick and chose.

Maybe but service is where they can make good money eventually sales will slow especially if interest rates go up ppl won't be buying as much I plan to keep my Roo for 1-3 years before moving to another but I won't have a loan on an RV, never did before

We just bought our new 356qb Salem from Crossroads Trailers in Newfield, NJ. We started looking at the Hershey show in Sept. Crossroads beat the price we got there and service is now closer.

It started there and when I got home I started looking locally. We found the 356qb Heritage Glen at Hitch RV in Turnersville, NJ. Never will I go there again. Sales manager is an ass. A week before the Atlantic City RV show we went to look at the unit at HitchRV. They told us about the show the following weekend and we decided to talk some numbers. The numbers ended at 41,900 for the unit and 17,000 for our trade. We left, no deal. RV Wholesalers had it for 37,900. We went to the AC show and talked some more numbers ( 39,900 and 20,000) then found Crossroads. Crossroads beat their best deal by 3000.00. 39,000 for the unit and 22,500 for our trade. And beat their financing offer by a point. Not awesome deal but good deal.

Thanks. For some reason I just can't get away from black trucks. My last one was all blacked out also and I said I'm not getting another one. Ha!

Here's our last setup.

Hey Wicked! I am in northern Jersey, and RVW sent me to port Jervis for warrantee work. I would have asked about Driftwood as they are about the only dealer in NJ for Rockwood, but I wanted to see who they came up with. I depend on an RV shop to do the things I don't feel comfortable with, so a relationship with a local RV shop is important. This may still be a trek for you, but not as far as Virginia. I'll see how this place works out.

I used to live in Warwick NY, so familiar with Port Jervis also grew up in Bergan County so thanks but I know one of the techs at CW in Lakewood and they are doing all my warranty work.

I decide going back to VA is too much but thanks for your suggestion.
