Dual Bal Levelers on 233s

We pick up our 2013 233S in three weeks, moving up from a 1998 Coleman Niagara. We used a BAL Leveler with the Niagara, and was wondering if we could use two of them on one side now that we will have the Roo.

Any help is appreciated

I found info from another forum that indicates the BAL is good up to 1700 lbs. I know they were not designed for double axeled trailers, so my two cents is to not use them for that purpose. It's a nice thought to be able to use them (I had one for our PUP, but it went with the camper when we sold it), but the 233S is pretty heavy for that type of level system. I'd stick to wooden (or other) planks.

Yes, you got to watch the weight rating. Not only that but when the trailer really gets heavy they get almost impossible to turn anyway.

They work fine in pairs.
If the Roo weighs 5000 lbs, you have 2500 lbs on each side which is only 1250 lbs on each tire so weight capacity on the BAL is OK.
I have 2 BAL's and have used them both on one side. Our TT axles are very close together and they do fit.
They can be difficult to turn when loaded.
Keep the threaded rods well lubed.
I use them when I need less than 1" when leveling. When I need more than 1", I use blocks to level and then use the BAL's as chocks.

If you decide to go that route, I'll sell you mine for $50+shipping. I bought it for our popup and used it twice before we moved up to our 23SS. send me a PM if you're interested.
