Electric jack question

Hi! I took my 23ss camping for the first time without my husband. My battery wouldn't hold a charge no matter how long I had the generators running. Now I'm at home but my electric jack won't work to detach my truck. Now what do I do?

Is the camper still connected to the tv? It should run off the electric of the truck unless the jack is broken.

Did you check battery disconnect to make sure it is on. You should be able to run them down with hand crank

( Use the Emergency Crank)! Sounds like your Vehicle and Gen are Not Connected to Charge your Batt! If you used your (Lights/Water pump/Refer/Slide/T Jack) you were running off Your Batt,so you didn't have the (Batt Disconnect OFF)! Youroo!! PS Cross Train before the Next Trip!

My Lippert tongue jack did not come with a manual crank but it does
have a rubber cap on top. Remove the cap and use your own electric drill or
socket and ratchet.

Agree with others- it sounds like the battery disconnect switch might
be off. Have to wonder how they got it hitched and to the campground??
Would love to hear "the rest of the story"!!

Check the hot wire from the jack there maybe an inline fuse under the camper near a junction box. I had one in my V-Lite. Had the same issue as you but found a bad wire connection after the fuse. Later RJD

Yep, would like to hear what the issue was. Not sure what year 23ss they have, our electric tongue jack is always powered and is ahead of the disconnect. Theirs should have worked if they were plugged into the tow vehicle - assuming they have power at the connector....

I'm pretty sure if you are on Generator/shore power and do not turn on the battery disconnect, it will not charge the battery.

That could be why the battery won't charge.
