I'd be interested in an adapter - maybe.

Something tells me not to use the hose that I've got attached to the bathroom sink to clean out the black tank .

Most dump sites are an incline, dump the most favorable direction to complete empty what you can out of tank.....then completely fill the tank and meter the amount of water that goes in it.....compare to specs that came with your trailer....we don t put TP in our tank...have small can that it goes in....use detergent and softener with 3-5 gallons of h2o...depending on after camping status of trailer....if free dump station near you can fill it complete when you get home and let it sit.....then go dump after a period of time....good luck

Thanks - seems to be a decent alternative aside from installing a tornado kit outside.

another positive of the old style tent ends, is that i can run the hose under the rear tent end to the bathroom, so i can use my spinning toilet wand.
i guess that's not possible with the new fangled pre-attached tent ends.

i definitely prefer the old style, to the new style for other reasons too.

I install a quickie flush in the black and grey tank. I dump the black tank while the quickie flush is rinsing out the tank then I fill the tank back up with the quickie flush dump again and repeat it 2 or 3 more times. Did the wand thru the window and thought it was to much of a pain that's why I installed the quickie flush, best money spent...

What always amazes me is how a newbie with there first post can generate so many responses even though they never check back in. This site is amazing (in a good way).
Now I do wonder how the tank can be half empty and be the top half of the tank that is full. If that in the case, buy a new tank and bury that one somewhere safe!
Seriously I'd bet it is a sensor issue. Load up with ice and take a drive then pursue the Geo method.

This can be done with the new style pre-attached tent ends. Just unzip the panel and the screens and slip a hose through the hole.

sometimes old has its benefits Dan. We would have to run a hose through the end bunk tent screens and I don't know that I would want to drag a hose across the matress.

Water. Water. And More Water.

Fill and dump several times, then go with the Geo Method--been doing this for 3 years and have never had a problem emptying or with any odors. You can use TP--just use the right kind! Scott or RV paper works OK, breaks down quickly, but no Charmin or any of that thick, quilted stuff.
