External Speakers - Konika TV

My 2012 23SS is equipped with a 22" Konica LCD TV and Genesis AV system. Is it possible to hook up external speakers to the TV for better sound quality? If so, how?

Do you want to use the speakers that came with the TT?

I didn't think that the TV could run through the speakers that are provided. I thought they were for radio, CD only. If there is a way to utilze the existing speakers that would be fine.

you will need an available input from the Genesis head unit and an audio out from the TV..

You could have a SPDIF (optical), HDMI, or standard left/right (black and red) RCA..

If the TV has an audio out digital or otherwise you can do this in about 15 minutes...

The Konica TV in my 21FBRS has a stereo headphone output jack and the Jensen radio/dvd unit has an input of same type.

I connected both using a 3-foot stereo cable with 3.5mm jacks and works thru the TT speakers. You must select the correct device on the player to hear the sound.

the 2014 i purchased has the same tv and the tv is setup to play through the sound system.

My 21ss will play tv sound through the stereo, just have to find the right input on the genisis.
