he has a 2006 Avy. my '07 Avy has the 3.73 rear end.
both have the older 4 speed trans so need the lower rear end ratios.

the 2009-2013 Avys have the newer 6 speed trans so they can get by with a higher rear end ratio.

I have the specs from the factory when it was built, I also confirmed it with the dealership I bought the truck from. It was an option you could order. You can reserch any car or truck you own for a 1 day trial at Comprehensive Chevrolet, Saturn, GMC, Hummer, Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Geo, Dodge, Plymouth, Jeep, Chrysler, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda Truck, Mercedes VIN Decoder

I just typed in the vin number and it gave me all the info from when the Avalanche was built. Whom-ever purchased my Avalanche when it was new had every option you could get added. Thanks Gordy

Actually, according to this article, it is one of 2 options offered for the 2006 / 2007 Avalanches.

Congratulations, Ggrady.

Lets see some pictures, especially a close up of the led awning light strip. I'm curious where that is installed!

I took some pics for all of the new LED's that came on the new 23ikss and some others. They put the LEDs on a strip that they added under the awning.

We didn't end up buying from Jerrys as we got a better trade in value on our Roo 17' somewhere else. If it hadn't been for that we definately would have bought through them. We looked at a Roo 233s there in cold Febuary, they brought it in and opened it up for us. Very friendly and knowledgable. Also, priced very well. We did get a new 233s this year and love it so far.

Just thought I would let ya know , when I ordered the TT they told me I had all the options you could order it with when I took a closer inspection I did not have the dinnet side awning topper, I called Jerry's Camping center and it was not listed as one of the options from the show where I bought it from ,But since it was a n option available they honored it and they are putting the slide topper on for no charge! What great service I would definintly buy from them again. I also changed the large wardrobe and put in wire shelves for clothes. I really do not need room to hang caots in the summer months.
