Plenty of room under the awning. I wish the outside speakers could have been mounted on the slide...but, it does give me an idea with the available Genesis channel! Hmm, new mod on my list.

I have a 2014 F150 FX4 In Dark Blue 4X4 Crew with FX Luxury Package 5.5 Foot box just have to replace these soft Pirelli's with the BFG A/T KO2's looking at 305/55/20

Yeah I liked the white but no one had the willow interior, I prefer Willow over all their other colors and it looks nice with the Saphire package, we love ours and plan on just keeping it clean and making some useful mods, Surge protector, dirt devil central vac, plexiglass on shower/sink wall, different shower head and digital thermostat for starters

Yep, we have nearly identical trucks outside of color. I too want to get rid of the squishy Pirelli's. I was hoping to maybe last one more year with them as we already dropped a lot of money on the camper. I will be curious how you like the new tires.

Well now I have some warranty issues on a new unit is this common?

TV stopped working dealer is sending me a new one.

Fantastic fan in the bathroom stopped working, worked on delivery?

Just noticed after cleaning front pop out there is glue in the right window, not the screen but the white part that zippers up, anyone know how to get rid of it or do I call FR and have them setup an appointment with a dealer to get those resolved?

Fan in the bathroom needs three things to work: switch on the wall set to 'on', switch on the fan set to one of the three speeds, and finally the fan needs to be open enough to kick in the cover switch. You probably know all this already but just in case. Hope it helps. Is the light in the bathroom working? Both the fan and light work off the same wall switch.

H no did not know switch had to be on? I had it open to vent it but when I tried to turn it on nothing, let me recheck that and I contacted FR about the glue in the pop out

Ok GF checked switch and Viola fan works just as it should 😜Boy do I feel stupid

After considering the move to a HTT from our PUP for about 2 years, we finally got around to making a decision and pulled the proverbial trigger.

We over-analyzed the heck out of the various options, weighed our priorities and finally settled on the 23IKSS. it is more room than we probably need but the deeper slide w/windows and the skylight (plus island) were key reasons why we chose it over the the other finalist - the 23SS.

The difference in weight and cost were so minor that they were more than offset (for us) by the features of the 23IKSS.

We were also able to get a mid-2015 model run which is different than the "newer" 2015s in:

Mid 2015 run:
White exterior
Aluminum framed windows
White trim (except for door)
White vents & AC cover

Late 2015 run (Sapphire package):
Tan exterior
Bonded windows
Black trim
Black vent & AC covers
Black tank flush
Solar panel connector

Both runs have the LED awning lights, the "flatter" bed platforms, etc.

We actually prefer the older white color scheme and didn't want black anything due to living under the SoCal sun. The other differences did not weigh into our decision as I have my own plans for the black water flush and solar setups.

We feel we got a good price from a midwest dealer and are opting to have the unit shipped to us in SoCal at a savings over what we were quoted from both RVW and RVD. And in our case, since there are no local Roo dealers anyway, we were going to be stuck either fixing issues ourselves or relying on a non-Roo FR shop to help with warranty claims. I couldn't see paying the closest Roo dealer over $4k more when they are still 2 hours away from us, although I did try to get them to work with us. I revealed to them our unit's pricing "all in" including tax and delivery fees and was willing to buy (somewhat) local if the price was within $1-2K -- but not $4k.

Anyway, our trailer is now sitting in the frozen midwest waiting on pickup by the shipper. Unfortunately, it won't make it here in time for our Thanksgiving trip, so we'll be having one last memorable trip in the PUP we've had for 7 years before it goes off to greener pastures...

Thanks again for your help. We hope to contribute back to the great community and are very much looking forward to our new Roo.

-M

We called around locally but no one would even come close to the mid 2015 Saphire 23IKSS one we bought from McGeorge's in Va and we are in NJ. Got decent $ for our trade and the best price on a fully loaded 23IKSS with every option but stainless appliances and 15K btu AC otherwise every option was already installed. My buddy has the 2013 21SS and he pushed me to look at the Roo and they are awesome can't wait 2 weeks we start camping love this model so much room so versatile test light and small and easy to use
