First time RV user, 2011 Roo BH21

I just purchased the RV (not from a dealer), but it's sitting about 1 hour away. It was sold to me as a 2010, but it appears they originally sold this model in 2011? I have so many questions it's unbelievable. I'm surprised that these things don't come with decent user guides; at least a checklist of setup and tear-down for camping. But I digress, I'll try to keep it to my questions about the BH21.

What does the on/off switch immediately on the left as you walk in do? It's kind off by itself.

What is the procedure for setup/put away for the awning? I know there is an "up/down" switch, but is there anything else to do?

If I plug in the overhead light/fan (for the pullout) and turn it on, it blows a fuse. Every time. If I leave the fan plugged in and do the same, no problem. any ideas what would cause this?

The pullout has silicone caulking around the two outside corners. Is that from the factory? It doesn't look very well done.

The caulk around the doors and windows is cracking and looks like crap. Is it recommended to replace?

I'll start with those questions. TIA

First off, from one 21BH owner to another, welcome to the forum.

Let me see if I can answer all your questions.

The user guides that come with these are extremely generic.

The switch when you walk in controls the outside porch lite.

I do not have the electric awning. Mine is good old Portuguese... MANUAL :-P

The light for the bunk blows a fuse but the fan doesn't? I would check with a meter for a short. A good meter is a must for owning a camper.

Silicone caulking is not factory.

Get some good RV caulking like flex seal for your caulking needs.

what you call a "pullout", are you talking about the drop down canvas bunk end or do you have a slideout?
popups have pullout ends but hybrids have drop down bunk ends, like a ramp or tailgate.

Dan, the 21BH has no slideouts. Just one canvas bunk end.

One last note, my "2011" was actually manufactured in 2010. Common in the industry.
