Flag Poles

I've been interested in a flag pole for the camper. In searching the internet I've not found one that suits my 23SS. The bed are my main problem as they block access to the frame or bumper. Any thoughts?

Cant find a good pic right now, but I made brackets for mounting my flags on just about anything a ratchet strap will go around, AND will fit in the stake bracket mounts of my truck bed if there is no tree or pole around.
Used a 2x3 board 12" long and tapered the ends at 45 degrees.
Screw on a wall mount flag bracket, and use a strap to secure to whatever.
I mostly will put both flags (American and POW) on the same tree offset between 90 to 180 degrees.
I will admit it can be a PITA sometimes

Get a plastic flower pot, a piece of PVC pipe with a diameter large enough to fit your flag pole, and some quik-set concrete. PVC pipe goes in the middle, fill the flower pot about 2/3 - 3/4 full, allow to dry. You now have a flag stand, 1 each. You can drill a hole through the PVC and flag pole, attach hitch pin for stability. Works well.

I know this is an older thread, don't know if you ever came up with a solution but this is the one we used for the popup and the current Roo, I either put it in the front hitch if I have the cover on the bed and need the tailgate down or the rear hitch if the cover is off.

flagpoles

I know this is an older thread, but I recently made flag poles out of Aluminum 3/4 inch conduit for my 19fd shamrock hybrid. I had 3/4 inch conduit cut to the length I wanted. I then attached the flags to the poles with "wire ties" (aka zip tipes). I drove concrete forming stakes into the ground for bases. The ID of the conduit fits perfectly over the forming stakes and voilla....cool flagpoles. I can send pics if you need them. you can also store them inside the camper or in the compartment which houses the water pump without issue, ( I had mine cut to the length to fit in there).
