Forest River

Does Forest River monitor these forums? I’m trying to replace my mattresses from 2012 Roo 23IKSS. The dealer claims he is waiting on a reply from Forest River as to compatibility with a new mattress manufacturer. It’s been over two weeks and I’m tired of waiting.
I’d like to hear from Forest River on this matter.

Ideas?

Have you tried contacting FR directly yourself?

On rare occasion a FR rep will respond to someone and leave a contact number, but not very often.

This forum is not connected to Forest River and, as far as we know, no one at Forest River corporate nor any of its divisions monitors our forum. FR Corporate does have an experimental piece of software that somehow monitors the entire internet for issues with which they can help.

With that said, neither you nor your dealership should be dealing with Forest River Corporate. You/they should contact service at the Rockwood division which built your unit. Go to the real FR website and do a Contact Us for Rockwood. BTW, we have seen case after case where a dealership will blame Forest River when they haven’t even contacted them.

I contacted the dealer again and there is a direct replacement using the same heat controller as the OEM. Now waiting to hear the shipping cost.
