We were there for the last 2 weekends. What a difference a week makes! Was chilly 2 weeks ago, but Monday when we left it was 72 degrees.
I wouldn't worry too much about the water as long as it gets above freezing during the day. Might want to turn off or disconnect the hose at night. You could use the fw tank at night if you did.
We've found that condensation is the bigger issue. Even with windows/vents cracked we still get some condensation on the windows and the bottom edges of the tent ends.
The heated mattresses will be mighty useful this weekend. The other thing we found with the Roo is that the heat is pretty un-even front to back. Put in a digital t-stat which helped, but still about an 8 degree difference front to back last Friday when it was in the upper 30's. I bought an electric fireplace to install in the bottom of the entertainment center. Tried it out at home and worked great and evened up the temps, but at OFCR their power supply is so terrible we couldn't use it. Had about 105 volts most of the time and 5 minutes after we got there the water heater tripped the breaker - somehow we ended up with a pedestal that only had a 20 amp receptacle??
Should still be an awesome weekend up there.
