Fridge handles

How do you keep the doors open on the new style fridge. For storage? Before they had those small blue clips that would hold the door open and in place.

Inside edge of fridge door has a flap that pulls toward the fridge door. It is near the handle of both the freezer and fridge doors.

The Dometic owners manual has a photo.

OK. We pulled the little tabs that hold the door in the "airing" position. Then closed the doors. Oops. One was bumped all the way closed. No instructions on how to open it without breaking the little tab off. Any suggestions? Am I being too delicate?
