front end mystery leak

I have a shamrock expandable camper and have been experiencing a wet floor in the front end. No glaring obvious entry point of the water. seems to be coming from under the floor. I dont have water on the floor rather you can see water damage under the vinyl floor and the floor is soft. i have sealed and rechaulked everything from the front bunk hinge, roof, seals around the base and checked the lights and awning attachment ( this was very wet and hopefully the cause) Yesterday I basically took out the inside front cabinets and found a lot of water sitting under the fresh water tank. I never use this tank and there seemed to be a lot of condensation in the tank and on the outside of it. The tank is located in the front right of the trailer, under a cabinet by the door. I am wondering if this could be the cause? or a by product of the other leak. i removed the whole tank last night, and we had a heavy rain. No visible water again, but we shall see. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

What model and what year do you have?

My fresh water tank is located underneath the trailer but maybe the very early models did it differently. There is no way condensation from mine could cause a wet floor.

Or, are you referring to the water heater located inside the trailer on the floor?

I learn something new everyday - had no idea Shamrock would place the FW tank where it was accessible from the inside. Is it above the floor, then?

Like I said, mine is underneath the trailer and will show condensation on the outside of the tank after filling with cold water on a hot day, for example. So I could see how that would cause floor damage if your FW tank is located in such as way that it could seep onto the floor.

I have an 08 23ss Roo and the FW tank is on the inside, front passenger side. I have a buddy with a 2009 Shamrock version of the 23ss and his is underneath.

yep, FR made a change after 2008, with the FW tank.
my '07 23SS has the FW tank inside, right by the door.

I kind of like it on the inside I can visually check how much water I have left and from the sounds of it, my friend is concerned with his not having enough reinforcement hanging underneath-he was going to see what he can do to make it more sturdy.

I have an 07 Shamrock 19 with the water tank inside under the sofa, it would be great to free up that space for storage. Right now the tank uses up over half that space. Has anyone ever relocated the inside tank to underneath, or replaced it with a different tank?

i can see why it's an issue with the 19 model, but our '07 23SS has tons of inside storage. so we don't need to relocate the tank for extra storage.
i did put a shelf above the tank and use it for some additional storage for tv stuff. i also put hinges on the cabinet front cover and made it into a door.
