We must not have them around here because I've never heard of them before I started posting here. Paper wasps seem to be the biggest problem for us.

I guess it is worth to get them for the $16 as opposed to having troubles with little critters

We have it on our fridge vent, hot water heater and furnace. Cheap insurance.

I put them on all the openings to keep the mud wasps out. It's easy to kill the wasps, but hard to clean up their mud huts. Doing so inside a camper opening would not be fun.

As they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If you are paying $16 your are paying to much. $12.06 from Walmart.com, have it shipped to the nearest store and you pay no shipping.

we installed them on our 2012 trailer and now the 5th wheel. Hot water heater, fridge and furnace vents all protected now.

when we (I) took the grate off the fridge there were tons of dead bugs in there from the previous owner as well as a white garbage bag taped across the opening to prevent snow and bugs. Apparently he didnt know that for a few dollars he could have protected the unit against the bugs.
