Furnace troubles

Hello, my wife and i just bought a 1999 Roo 18. We have cleaned it all up and are looking forward to camping season. However we are having trouble with the furnace. The propane is turned on, the lines have been bleed as the stove top, oven and fridge/freezer all work off the propane just fine, and power is reaching the unit , as the blower turns on within a few seconds of fliping the switch. I can hear a clicking sound which I assume is the ignitor, but it does not seem to be catching.
Anyone have an idea? Am I missing a step or might their be something wrong with the furnace? Also, I have not tried the water heater as it's still dropping below freezing at night and I didnt want to put water into the system yet. So might I need the water heater running to work the furnace? We've been camping for years but our pop-up had nothing more than a grill, so these accessories are all new to me. Thanks for any input.

Furnace and water heater are two separate appliances. so no you do not need that on for the furnace to work. How many times have you tried the furnace? More than two? If so then there is something wrong with the furnace. possibly the main board is bad, or the gas valve is not cycling as it should or one of the temp limit switches could be bad. Without throwing a lot of parts at the problem it might be cheaper to take it to a RV dealer and have them diagnose it for you. You could first of all try taking some compressed air and blowing out the exhaust. Spiders have been known to crawl in there for the winter. You could also open it up and check the burner assembly over to be sure that nothing is blocking the gas flow.

I tried lighting the furnace twice, letting it click for about 20 seconds each time before turning it off. And I gave it about 2 min between tries. I stopped messing with it there, as I dont really know that much about the unit and didnt want to risk damaging anything.

I have to ask. Was the blower running?
If there is no air blowing out; the flame will not start.
If the fan is not running, then you need to get inside and find out if there is a mud dauber nest in there.

Disregard, I re-read your original post.

Well i tried the whole blowing out and cleaning of the gas lines, still no signs of heat from the furnace just blowing cold air still. Oh well, i guess for safety sake and before i makes matters any worse, I will take it to the dealer for troubleshooting. Thanks for the help tho everyone
