Exclamation furnance exhaust position 233s

Hello All,

Had this concern when we got the Roo home this spring and it finally happened!!

The exhaust vent for the furnace is just the left of the door and I have always been concerned of my kids burnung themselves when the furnance is running. I have always placed the table closer to the exhaust port as to try to minimize the hazard but my 8 year old was placing something up on the table she lost her balance and fell into it burning her arm Wondering if anyone has a mod or seen a guard that can be placed on the output to prevent this from happening.

I think FR could have put more thought into the placement of this exhaust port.

Thanks for any help in advance.

If no one has seen a viable guard I'd be more than happy to fab one up for ya and ship it out .
I had to make one for our past tt for similar reasons.

f1100turbo, be honest, you built the shield because you had too many adult beverages and leaned into the exhaust. Don't blame it on protecting your kids. They're smarter and know better!
