Just picked up our new 2016 23ss. Does anyone know if it's supposed to come with a remote for the TV? It came with a remote for the irv radio DVD player, but it doesn't appear that will turn the tv off or on.

I got a remote for the tv and a remote for the stereo.

We have 3 TV's. Received a remote for everything including the house audio system and the Cab stereo system! I don't think you can fine a TV today that doesn't come with a remote. So I think you got shorted one.

Yea, We complained we didn't get one, Found it in the freezer 2 weeks later.... Could be anywhere. But you should have one yes.

Contacted the dealer and they are going to ship me one. For sure I know it's not in the freezer but it could be hidden somewhere else...

Great! Thanks for asking. Just spent our first night in it. Had to set up in the dark so today I'm going to get out and play with everything. I added the Velcro for the popup gizmos but didn't attach them in the dark last night...kids were hungry.

Camping close to home? Noticed you're from Royal Oak. Quite a few Mi state parks close by to try out your new home on wheels!

We're at one of our favorite parks tawas point state park. We have indoor storage available not to far from here, so we'll be leaving the camper "up north".

We have the 23ss as well, plenty of room and storage for the two of us. Hope yours stays as problem free as ours has so far.

Seems to be something about Michigan and the 23ss??? lol. Getting geared up for our TN trip next week! be putting some miles on ours.

Just looked up Tawas... Might be a place to take our new unit. About a 5 hour trip for me. Any other Michigan suggestions? I'd be coming from NE Indiana.

Algonac SP is nice if you like to watch freighters. Its on the St. Marys river. Lakeport SP is north of Port Huron on the lake, also nice spot.

We love going to Young SP near Boyne. Difficult to get reservations thru the summer. We spend a week there in mid Sept. Might be a bit too far for a weekend though.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. I can count 5 of the 23ss purchased w/i last year and a half right here in SE Mich. Go figure....
