Gas grill trouble

Y'all tell me a question? How come this silly gas grill that come with our 183 does this? I just didn't wanna fire up charcoals for my 2 hot dogs.

Comes with what?.. sorry I'm confuzzled.. the knob on the side allows you to turn the gas on.. and regulate how much..

Fire comes out between the knob and the grill like something must be stopped up. Picture didn't do the flame justice 😀

Does the fire go across the bar inside?.. and it should burn more blue than yellow

Propane should inject into burner tube, mix with air then burn the entire length of burner. Tube alignment not correct now (tube too gar from burner) or gas cannot follow burner tube.

Can you re post the picture? Is this a side Kick Grill? If so you may need to replace the control valve. The nozzle is attached to it and can snap off very clean where it enters the burner area. I have done this twice after dropping the grill with the hose still attached. I know you would think I would learn. I think this is what I used.
