Question Generators again please

I have a Troybilt 3550 Generator but it is 20 amp/4 prong on the generator, and on the TT i have a 30 amp 3 prong.Am i to assume that this generator cannot be used when boondocking?
Does the generator need to be a 30 Amp?
Your help would be appreciated.

If you want to run a/c and anything else yes you need 30 amp.

Search "normal appliance amp draws"
On here.

I posted a chart of amp draws.

A/c and converter take over 20 amps alone

you should have a regular 3 prong household outlet on your genny, you can use a 20-30 amp adapter just as you would plugging your TT into an outlet at home.

As turbs stated, you will not have enough to A/C and anything else, but should be able to run A/C by itself.
