Unhappy Genesis 2.0 no power

I am having a problem in that there is no power. I have checked the fuse and everything else in the trailer works. Any ideas on what could be wrong? The trailer is a 2014 roo 23ss. Thanks

Grant

I think there's a fuse that you have to pull the Genesis out to get to.

I was just looking at it again and I also have a wire tha has 2 wires in it that is coloured white and yellow that isn't connected. I tried to take the unit out but the cables on the side get stuck.

I believe you're right Dan. My buddy has same trailer and went through this a while ago.

You don't get the unit to light up to show that it is getting power? I don't recall seeing a fuse behind the unit. Are you sure all of the fuses in the converter power box are good?

I don't have the exact same camper, but after you pry off with a small screwdriver the two long thin sides (top to bottom) and expose the three on each side screw holes, (I only had 3 screws in the 6 holes), the Genesis unit has to be able to slide straight out. There will be a little extra wire behind the unit allowing you to see what is behind the Genesis.

If yours is like everyone's you will not get stereo playback except from the outside speakers, unless you rewire it from the back. As I recall there is a wiring diagram on the back of the Genesis unit. My entire left (or right) channel was not even hooked up to inside speakers.

In line fuse

My Genisis 2 had a inline fuse behind the radio, had to pull radio to get to it.
Now it has no fuse behind radio.

Thanks now I have to figure out how to get in there. Seems silly to have a fuse you can't to without taking the trailer apart.
