Golf Cart

My TV is a 2010 Nissan Titan crew cab. When I am hooked up to my 2011 Shamrock 21ss the tailgate cannot be let down due to hitting the winch on the front of the camper.I have a golf cart and am trying to figure out a way to fit the golf cart in the truck bed while pulling the camper. We usually camp at the lake which is not a long drive from my house but is an inconvenience to drive two cars with gas prices so high.Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Can you loop your tailgate cable over the tailgate post? It leaves the tailgate at a 45-degree angle or so.

I had to do it to haul some deck furniture when my rolltop cover got in the way.

Remove the tailgate.

Some people have reinstalled their power jack 180 degrees (facing backwards) and this sometimes allows more room for the tailgate.

I had the same problem. I could not fully open my F150 tailgate without hitting the trailer jack. I bought a longer shank for my hitch. I went from a 10" to to 14" and that allowed me to open the tailgate all the way down and it did not change the towing characteristics at all. Rotating the power jack did not help me.

What a difference it made being able to get into the truck bed. Well worth the money for he new shank.

i reversed the motor head on my UF 3500 to be able to lower the tailgate.

but i think you're going to be way over your payload by carrying a golf cart AND the tongue weight of the trailer. and that's not including any passengers or other cargo in the truck.
